PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
What must we do to meet the challenges of a new century. The new millennium has arrived and with it, a new era of opportunity and technological innovation. To continue our success, we must adapt to the demands of the 21st century. Technology, innovation, expertise and customer service will be the critical issues for our industry.
With the wave of mergers and acquisitions in the industry, many of our customers have severely reduced their staffs and their resources. We are being asked to help fill the gaps left by these reductions while at the same time operating under our own economic pressures. In order to continue our success, we must become more efficient, apply new technologies, and maintain focus on customer requirements.
MESA has a number of initiatives underway in 2000. These initiatives are a key part of our overall strategic plan. We are midway through our effort to become ISO 9002 certified. We are implementing e-commerce. We are continuing the development of our website. These and other efforts are critical to maintain our progress and long-term success.
Along with these company-wide efforts, MESA employees will strive to insure our company is the best value provider in service delivery, quality, and operating results. To do this, we will:
- Be proactive, approaching our jobs with a sense or urgency and purpose.
- Be results and solutions-oriented.
- Remain sensitive to customer needs and committed to customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with an understanding of the market.
- Be credible and technically competent.
- Create value.
With the 20th century completed, MESA commits to the challenge of the future.
