LIDA FABRICATION
As one of the leading suppliers of cathodic protection
materials, MESA offers a complete line of impressed current anodes.
We have assembled cast iron and graphite anodes in our Tulsa plant for
many years. Until recently, we
distributed LIDA mixed metal anodes but did not assemble them.
In June, MESA was licensed by Eltech to assemble and sell the full line
of mixed metal anodes. With full
control of manufacturing for a complete line of impressed current anodes, MESA
can ensure speedy product delivery.
In order to become licensed, MESA acquired special
fabrication equipment including a hydraulic press and helium tester.
MESA technicians underwent training at the Sugar Land facility of Eltech
and at the MESA plant in Tulsa to become competent in LIDA fabrication
processes. A complete inventory of
anode components is now available in Tulsa for rapid response.
LIDA anodes are fabricated using a proprietary connection
process developed through extensive testing.
Anode cables are attached with a special copper crimp connector and each
connection is electrical resistance tested and helium tested to ensure
trouble-free performance. Each
anode is offered with a 5-year warranty.
LIDA anodes have been used worldwide since 1981 in a wide
variety of underground and water applications.
Size, weight, and durability combine to offer advantages over most of the
other traditional impressed current anodes materials.
We are excited about this new opportunity for MESA and what it means to our
customers: quick product delivery and manufacturing in an ISO 9002
certified environment.
