PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

The tragic events of September 11 impacted our lives in ways that will continue to emerge for many years.  Along with the incredible level of worldwide support to those directly affected by the tragedies, we’ve seen a resurgence of patriotism not seen for many years.  We’ve become a more united nation and world in our commitment to rid the world of terrorism.

The accumulated impact of individual contributions can make a difference.  MESA supports relief efforts by matching our employees contributions to disaster relief agencies such as the Red Cross.  As a small symbol, we are now proudly flying the American flag at our corporate headquarters in Tulsa.

The longer-term impact of these events remain to be seen.  MESA achieved over 20% growth in 2001 and we are planning for additional growth next year.  However, in an already uncertain economy, financial projections for next year become even more speculative.  Even if our growth slows, we will continue to provide the industry leading service and quality that our customers expect.  We address those issues in one of our news articles.
